This is what a visitor sees when exits from the other side of the upper Antelope Canyon. I've made this photo for the second time after seven years and the result is almost the same; but this time I was more prepared to capture its stunning textures details; then I underexposed a little in order to capture all blue and purple hues that the sensor was able to register, maintaining the strong light coming from the outside. The result is something that I printed on a metal surface like aluminium in a vertical, supersaturated composition.
Look inside, look inside your tiny mind, now look a bit harder
'Cause we're so uninspired
So sick and tired of all the hatred you harbour~
Do you, do you really enjoy living a life that's so hateful?
'Cause there's a hole where your soul should be
You're losing control a bit, and it's really distasteful~
Also known as the Torx drive. These are various sizes of torx drives from T15 up to T40. Shot for Macro Mondays "Stars" theme.
Thanks for viewing and happy Macro Monday!
Looking a little bit tacky here but this Robin is over two years old now which is a good age for a Robin. Always hanging around in the same area in one of my nature reserves I often go to visit. Ever since I first spotted this as a juvenile there has always been a dark patch below the right eye that is still there to this day. My little friend here has become very tame and always so very photogenic and hopefully will be around a bit longer yet. In the 1400's when the Robin was named the colour orange had not been classified and this is why we say that the Robin has a red breast and not orange. America has an eagle so it's about time the UK had the Robin as its national bird !!!!!!
Wood Pigeon (Columba palumbus). This wood pigeon was trying to keep cool by oscillating his throat. However, he just looked a bit deranged to me!
Bit of a fun shot. This Snowy Egret was on it's way back into the sea to carry on fishing when it sensibly paused for a moment. The fact that the wind had also whipped up it's crown feathers was a real bonus.
Taken at North Beach, Fort De Soto, Florida.
Thank you so much for stopping by and for leaving any comments or faves, they are very much appreciated.
It's a good thing foil came up as a theme for Macro Mondays because now I have a reason for keeping a bag of multicolored foil bits! Perhaps they'll make it into ice cubes some day but for now it's a foil abstract.

Knowing a bit more about photography makes it easier to understand how and why some oil paintings, say the impressionist, abstract or even watercolour paintings, came into being.

Bit of a Flickr slow-down while I struggle with a non-Adobe workflow for the first time in a long time (trying to break the addiction). I'm also pausing the 'pro' account on a trial basis, while I save up to buy a dozen eggs.
So hopefully all have a fine weekend. I'll be shooting a little but may or may not get more images up. I won't be Flickring much tonight but will try to fave from the mobile.

A bit quieter and much smaller version of the Main Square but with as much beauty and charm the Mały Rynek, or Small Square, is another spot to enjoy.
Located right behind Saint Mary's Basilica this is a great spot to hear the Trumpeter play without the crowds of the Main Square.
From the 16th century onward sellers of antiques also made a home for themselves on the square, when it was known as ‘Forum Antiquum’ (the Old Market), though the locals liked to call it ‘Tandeta’ (the ‘tacky market’) or - in a rhyming pun related to the grisly meats on display - even ‘Wendeta’ (Vendetta).
Serving as an intermediate point between the nobility of the Main Square and the impoverished denizens living near the city walls, Mały Rynek also housed a soup kitchen for the poor and the 13th-century School of the Virgin Mary, which predated the founding of the square.

Thank you for your visit, most appreciated!

Bit of an odd one his. A lone tree, a bit knackered, lonely and cold out in the snow. I may be way off with this one, but I just find there is something in the composition. Perhaps, a bit weirdly, but in my own way I love it. So I'm putting it out here.
Would have gone out today, it was fine enough, but other things got in the way. So took a photo of some ribbon I found, while sorting out something else. It looked OK, but I decided to play around with it a bit.

Bit of a cloud? Understatement? Not really -- as this cloud stretched across the horizon, and this was just a bit of it.
After reading numerous bits of advice about water drop photography, I decided to try my hand at it. Over one hundred photos later, I found that I had captured this floral water drop as it headed for a splash landing. Although I've tried to replicate this exact experience, it will have to remain in my heart and mind. I suppose that is what is beautiful about life. Every event is rather special in its own way. It's interesting how photography can turn one into a philosopher.

Rocky ridge hidden in the forest shows its teeth. And makes a nice scenery with all that spring fresh green. A bit of a moss, a bit of a trees, a bit of a rock.
Whilst horse riding through Thingvellir national park in Iceland we reached a point on the trail where the horses can stop to have a drink before crossing this ice cold river! With the air temperature around -5 celsius it shows how well adapted these horses really are!
